Okanagan Lakefront Resort, Penticton

I had a pretty mixed experience at this hotel. The location is fantastic, right across from the beach and a short walk to great dining options. However, the service didn't live up to expectations, with staff seemingly disappearing after check-in. The rooms were a good size, but they felt a bit outdated and in need of some cleaning. Although I enjoyed my stay overall, the value for the price paid didn't exactly match my expectations.

I had high hopes for this hotel due to its fantastic location right by Okanagan Lake, but the experience turned out to be quite disappointing. While the rooms were large and the bed comfortable, the overall cleanliness left much to be desired. The service was lacking; after check-in, it felt like we were on our own. The pricing also felt steep given the shortcomings during our stay.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel with a fantastic view of Okanagan Lake. The location is superb, letting me enjoy the beach just steps away. The room was spacious and clean, though it did have a bit of an old smell and some cleanliness issues. While the staff were friendly during the check-in, it was surprising that they left shortly after, making me feel a little abandoned. Overall, it's a decent spot, but be prepared for a few quirks.

My stay at the Rochester was a delightful surprise! The location is fantastic, just across the street from the beach, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I was impressed by the newfound management and their efforts to improve the hotel. While there were a few minor downsides, such as the need for more kitchen supplies in the suite, overall it offered great value for the price.

After staying here for the last 25 years, I was pleasantly surprised by the recent management change. The hotel was impeccably clean, and the hospitality from the management made our stay very enjoyable. The view of the lake and the strip at night is a beautiful bonus. However, the outdated pricing structure for pets and the occasional inconsistency in room lighting were a bit disappointing.
